Avery Hill's "By
Special Request, Swedish
Weaving /Huck Embroidery, Book 3" was written
by Jeanne Tams and Nan Duffin. It is 72 pages long with a color photo
of each project.
The book begins with all the steps to start your
project, including: fabric preparation, stitching techniques, yarn selection,
and fabric measurements. Next you will find detailed
instructions and a diagram for the "Windsor" pattern and then diagrams
for an additional 32 patterns. Also included in the book, is a drawing
page for you to use when combining different design elements from
our 33 patterns and a pattern to make a small braided wreath. This
book has a diagram for an upper and lower case alphabet.
You might enjoy decorating a vest with Swedish Weaving after you see our
vest. There are three Christmas stockings in the book, one mini stocking
made from a pre-made stocking with an aida stitching area, one stitched on
monk's cloth and a third stitched on Stockholm huck fabric.
In this book you
will find examples stitched on monk's cloth, huck toweling, Stockholm huck
fabric, and Popkorn huck fabric, and Aida cloth.
