           Avery Hill's "33 Contemporary Swedish Weaving Patterns for Monk's Cloth" was written by Jeanne Tams and Nan Duffin.  It is 64 pages long with a color photo of each project.  The book begins with all the steps to start your project, including: fabric preparation, stitching techniques, yarn selection, and fabric measurements.  Once you learn the two easy stitches, float and split float, you are on your way.  Next you will find detailed instructions and a diagram for the "Tumbling Hearts" pattern and then diagrams for the additional 32 patterns.  Also included in the book, are two drawing pages for you to use when combining different design elements from our 33 patterns.  

        Although this book is designated as patterns for monk's cloth, the patterns can be also stitched on any even weave fabric, such as Huck cloth, Stockholm (or Popcorn) cloth, Aida cloth, linen, dish towels, afghan material, and gingham.

 
           Avery Hill's "Swedish Weaving /Huck Embroidery Designs, Book 2" was written by Jeanne Tams and Nan Duffin.  It is 72 pages long with a color photo of each project.  The book begins with all the steps to start your project, including: fabric preparation, stitching techniques, yarn selection, and fabric measurements.  Next you will find detailed instructions and a diagram for the "Jewel" pattern and then diagrams for an additional 32 patterns.  Also included in the book, is a drawing page for you to use when combining different design elements from our 33 patterns and  patterns to make a tassel and an angel tassel.  

        In this book you will see examples stitched on monk's cloth, huck toweling, and Aida cloth.

               Avery Hill's "By Special Request, Swedish Weaving /Huck Embroidery, Book 3" was written by Jeanne Tams and Nan Duffin.  It is 72 pages long with a color photo of each project.  

                The book begins with all the steps to start your project, including: fabric preparation, stitching techniques, yarn selection, and fabric measurements.  Next you will find detailed instructions and a diagram for the "Windsor" pattern and then diagrams for an additional 32 patterns.  Also included in the book, is a drawing page for you to use when combining different design elements from our 33 patterns and a pattern to make a small braided wreath.  This book has a diagram for an upper and lower case alphabet.  

                 You might enjoy decorating a vest with Swedish Weaving after you see our vest.  There are three Christmas stockings in the book, one mini stocking made from a pre-made stocking with an aida stitching area, one stitched on monk's cloth and a third stitched on Stockholm huck fabric. 

        In this book you will find examples stitched on monk's cloth, huck toweling, Stockholm huck fabric, and Popkorn huck fabric, and Aida cloth.
